Data protection
Privacy policy
This policy describes the processing of personal data carried out in connection with the hedylium.com site, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Data controller
HEDYLIUM SRL, Rue Joseph Piette 119B, 4300 Waremme, Belgique. Company number (Crossroads Bank for Enterprises) / VAT:
BE 1038.581.968.
Contact: contact@hedylium.com.
Data collected
The site is deliberately restrained and collects no data without your knowledge. The only personal data processed is that which you provide through the contact form:
- your name;
- the name of your organisation (optional);
- your email address;
- the content of your message.
No account is created and no data is requested outside this voluntary step.
Purpose
This data is used solely to handle your request and respond to it. It is not used for any commercial prospecting and is neither sold nor passed on to third parties for advertising purposes.
Legal basis
Processing is based on your consent, obtained when the form is sent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), as well as on the firm’s legitimate interest in responding to the enquiries addressed to it (Article 6(1)(f)).
Recipients and processor
Messages sent from the form are routed by the provider Formspree (Formspree, Inc.), acting as a processor for the transmission of requests. The connection to this service occurs only when you send the form: no call is made on merely loading the page. The data is accessible only to the firm and to the processor strictly necessary for routing.
Transfer outside the European Union
Hosting of the site (Cloudflare) and routing of the form (Formspree) may involve processing of data in the United States. These transfers are governed by the appropriate safeguards provided for by the GDPR.
Retention period
Messages and the associated contact details are kept for as long as necessary to handle your request and follow up on the exchange, then deleted when no longer useful. Failing any follow-up, they are not kept beyond twelve months.
Your rights
In accordance with the GDPR, you have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction and objection to the processing of your data, as well as the right to data portability. You may exercise these rights by writing to contact@hedylium.com.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Authority (DPA), Rue de la Presse 35, 1000 Brussels, Belgium.
Cookies, audience measurement and identification
Audience measurement (Plausible)
Site traffic is measured with Plausible Analytics, a privacy-respecting tool: no cookies, no data identifying you, no tracking from one site to another. The statistics are strictly anonymous and aggregated — pages viewed, visit source, country, device type. As such, this measurement falls under the consent exemption and requires no banner. Processor: Plausible Insights OÜ (European Union).
Apart from the cases above, the site places no non-essential cookies or advertising trackers.
